Chart notes
MOBE TOWN set the pace under pressure from BIG CHEDDAR to the outside, led along the rail into the turn, eased out to the three path leaving the bend, shook free in upper stretch under mild urging and was in hand near the wire. SMARTY NOSE raced off the rail near the back, went four wide into the turn, exited the bend in the five path, summoned a mild rally and got up for second. BIG CHEDDAR pressed the pace from outside, got moved out to the four path entering the lane, could not kick on with the winner in upper stretch, stayed within range to the sixteenth pole and lost second. SAN JAC sat off the pace out of range off the inside, chased three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. NAUGHTY NIKO lacked early speed, trailed up the backstretch, found the rail on the turn then tipped two wide late on the bend and passed a tired rival. DR LOW KEY tracked the top pair out of striking distance in the early stages, went tow wide into the turn then angled over to the rail to save ground around the bend and weakened down the lane. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
