Chart notes
VALENTINES CANDY broke well, raced up close on the inside, dueled into the turn, cleared at the five-sixteenths pole, put to right handed urging in upper stretch and was ridden out in the final furlong. PAX A PUNCH raced in range of the leaders in the early going, put in a mild rail bid on the turn but could not keep pace approaching the five-sixteenths pole, moved off the rail and finished willingly for second best. FALCON WINGS broke a step slow, dueled for the lead from outside, chased four to five wide into the lane and weakened. PROBLEM SOLVER raced at the back well off the rail, came five wide into the lane, drifted inward in the stretch and improved position. SIR NANO lacked early speed, saved ground through the turn and could not make an impact. LAST VINTAGE raced up close then paused behind one of the leaders at the half-mile pole, chased two then three wide around the bend and faded. MASTER JACQUES dueled inside FALCON WINGS up the backstretch, fought between rivals into the turn, lost command and chased after the new leader from the three path past the five-sixteenths pole and tired down the lane.
