CHAPS KNIGHT allowed to settle, began to rally three wide on the far turn, shifted inside the leader at the top of the stretch, rallied along the rail under left handed urging to make the lead late and proved best by the narrowest of margins. MIDNITESTATEOFMIND bumped at the start, set the pace near the inside into the stretch, drifted to the five path before the three sixteenths pole, shifted in to the two path near the furlong marker, dug in when challenged by the winner and just missed hanging on. C S EXPRESS bumped at the start, stalked the pace and went evenly. AVAILABILITY unhurried early, loomed boldly three wide nearing the quarter pole, kept on into the stretch and came up empty in the final stages. INTO THE BLACK pressed the early pace two wide and was through after a half. EAST BY WEST trailed.
