Chart notes
MISS FLUFFY was close-up early while racing two-wide, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch and finished strongly to be up in the final strides. SHELL GAME chased KENTUCKY GOLD while racing along inside, slipped thought to gain a slight lead nearing the quarter pole then dueled for the lead from that point and held on gamely to lose a tough decision. KENTUCKY GOLD saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out slightly nearing the quarter pole, responded when headed and continued to dispute the issue to the wire in a game effort. KAYE prompted the early pace while racing three-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and weakened. STREET MARK saved ground while being allowed to settle and failed to seriously threaten. JULIA'S PROMISE raced three-wide on the turn while being unhurried, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to menace.
