Chart notes
WASHINGTON'S UNION tracked the leader from the three path, still three deep and under a drive leaving the quarter pole, engaged the leader in upper stretch, and fought on hard to grind out the victory late. CROWN THAT SAINT tracked off the pace around the first turn, bid between runners entering the lane, shifted to the inside for the stretch run, finished with good energy to the wire. YANGARRA took the lead into the first turn, set the fractions on a clear lead into the far turn, pressure came from the outside entering the lane, had trouble swapping over to the correct lead, and finished evenly to the wire. MY HANDSOME MAN raced off the pace into the far turn, bid four wide leaving the quarter pole, and churned on through the lane. MOVING PICTURES raced mid pack and inside into the far turn, flattened out through the stretch. STRIVE FOR STRIDE bid four wide second turn, ranged up outside into the lane, and faded to the wire. THE COLORA KID off to a very slow start, never threatened. SCREW LOOSE raced mid pack through out, lacked a late bid. MY SLICK NICK off to a very slow start, never threatened.
