Chart notes
CALL IT A NIGHT stalked the pace from five wide through the turn, rallied turning for home to engage the runner-up in mid-stretch and pulled away inside the sixteenth pole. MIDNIGHT COUNCIL broke a step slow to be at the back early, rushed up splitting horses to take the lead entering the turn, opened a clear advantage on the bend, dug-in in upper stretch but weakened coming home unable to overcome the poor start in a game effort. NORTH SHIP tracked the leaders through the turn to be in striking distance at the head of the lane and failed to sustain through the lane finishing evenly. A VAN ON THE RUN trailed to the quarter pole and passed tiring rivals in the stretch. THISISRIDICULOUS raced mid-pack throughout going evenly. LEGENDARY STAR bobbled leaving the gate, raced near the rear of the field down the backside, rallied from wide mildly on the turn and flattened out. POP THE CORK set a pressured pace from the inside to the turn and faded.
