Chart notes
VALTESSE vied for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout, drove clear down the home stretch and was kept to the task. STARBUCK LUCK lacked early speed, moved up on the inside around the turn, split rivals down the lane, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. LADY HOPPER raced within contention, came around the turn on the outside and proved no match for the top two. ITSNOTMYJOB challenged for the early lead, saved ground around the turn and was outfinished for third. BET ON BOURBON raced within contention, weakened and was no threat late. DIANNA'S JET raced in the middle of the field and weakened. BITSY C C LIL GIRL raced near the middle of the field, came around the turn on the outside, finished wide and dropped back. AUNT IRENE always raced near the back and was outrun. LUNCH LADY void of early speed, saved ground around the turn and showed little.
