Chart notes
NIGHT STICK challenged for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, dueled down the lane with SEITAN and proved the best. SEITAN raced in the middle of the field, was bumped and forced out around the first turn, moved up on the outside around the second turn, dueled to the wire and was outfinished for the win. FRIENDLY HINT went to the front, saved ground and proved no match for the top two late. DEWCLAW raced within contention, made a mild bid, but was no real factor. SONNY'S NELSON showed early speed, faded and was no threat late. KEEP UP THE PACE void of early speed and was never close. TEXAS CACTUS JACK raced near the back, drifted out around the first turn, bumping rival and was never a threat. POSTUP always raced near the back and was outrun.
