Chart notes
LORD OF MISCHIEF vied for the lead along the inside into the turn, altered course to the five path past the quarter pole, rallied under right handed urging to make the lead in mid stretch and finished full of run to win going away while under confident handling. GAVEL broke in front, set the pace until mid stretch then was no match for the winner. ROCKY'S EXPRESS stalked the pace two wide then along the inside and went evenly. CLOAK AND DAGGER failed to menace. VERBIER was no factor. BUEHLER'S DAY OFF rushed to contention three wide, kept pressure on the winner through the turn and was through after a half.
