Chart notes
VILLI OLENTO stalked on the rail co-trailing on the inside, stalked ahead of only one runner creeping closer down the back straight, was roused for more three eighths out, edged up three wide through the far turn to pose the main threat four wide at the top of the stretch and kept on grinding away on the outside down the lane to get to the leader by the sixteenth pole and pull away for the win in deep stretch. KID GIZMO settled in midfield outside a rival in the early stages, ranged up three wide at the three furlong marker to bid for the lead outside, edged away up top midway through the turn, opened up comfortably at the quarter pole but could not fend off the relentless winner outside down the stretch and gave way settled for the runners up share in the last sixteenth of a mile. GHOSTLY PERFECTION co-trailed on the outside entering the first turn, settled at the back of the pack down the back straight, started to mount a rally three wide at the quarter pole, shifted out widest with run in the five path turning for home and came out on top winning the battle for the show money by the sixteenth pole but was a distant third behind the top two when crossing the finish line. KEY STROKE had a tracking role on the rail in the second flight, made little movement along the backstretch, was hard ridden but regressed through the final bend, was in range for a minor share in the three path between foes at the top of the lane and finished up mildly in deep stretch to settle on the fringes in the end. JULIE'S MIST was content to track the pacesetter outside in the first of two turns, chased the frontrunner down the backside closing the gap, vied between horses in the two path for the lead with three eighths from home, gave way up top by the quarter pole, dueled briefly in upper stretch for the show money inside rivals in the two path but yielded inside at the sixteenth pole. BLACKDIAMOND DINNY assumed command on the r ail into the first turn, was loose up top down the backside, was collared outside by a couple of runners at the three eighths pole, offered no resistance around the far turn and folded on the fence in upper stretch.
