Chart notes
PRINCIPE D'ORO raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the three path on the far turn, took the lead in the four path into upper stretch then moved clear, drifted out under a left-handed crop in the drive and just held then made light contact with the winner just after the finish. FRIZZANTE went around the first turn in the two path, was well placed just off the pace, chased inside to the two path on the far turn, came out to the five path into upper stretch, pursued the winner into the final furlong, gained outside that foe into the final sixteenth and closed fast to just miss then was bumped lightly past the finish. STRIKING SPARKS contested the pace along the rail while inside of a rival, was asked on the far turn, led in the two path into the stretch then lost the advantage before the three-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the final furlong and tired while clear for the show. J J'S JOKER went four wide on the first turn, was well spotted just off the pace, chased in the two then three path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch in the six path and came up empty. LIFE AND LIGHT established a forward position early, raced in the two path on the first turn, contested the pace on the outside, was asked in the two path on the far turn, dropped back late on that bend, turned into upper stretch in the five path and capitulated. CUMBERLAND BLUES dropped back early, raced in the two path on the turns and failed to threaten. MODERN ERA dropped well behind while saving ground and trailed throughout. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF FRIZZANTE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER AND THE STEWARDS' POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN. AFTER THE STEWARDS' REVIEW, NO CHANGE WAS MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH
