BEARY FUNNY was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, took an awkward stride inside the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn, pursued the leaders under a drive in upper stretch, gained to make a bid into the final furlong, took the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole, fought with the runner-up to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. THAT'S MONEY was ridden along on the outside, moved in late on the backstretch, shifted from the three path to the five path on the turn, gained to make a bid before the eighth-pole, fought on well in the final furlong, battled with the winner to the finish and just missed while clear for the place. THANK YOU JON showed speed then tracked the pace on the outside, traveled around the turn in the four path, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, gained to make a bid in upper stretch then took the lead, led under a drive into the final furlong, was overtaken outside the sixteenth-pole then outfinished while clear for the show. WHENLOVETAKESOVER broke out and bumped with a foe, showed speed then took the lead outside the half-mile pole, controlled the action while inside on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, came off the rail into the stretch, lost the advantage inside the three-sixteenths pole and weakened. KING MOONRACER moved in early then was urged near the back, rounded the turn in the two path, dropped to the rail near the quarter-pole and lacked the needed response. BADLANDS RULER dropped back then settled on the outside, was urged along in the three path on the turn and failed to threaten. DEVIL'S CAY made light contact with a foe at the start, showed speed between horses then chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn and tired. DADS GOOD RUNNER bumped with foes on both sides at the start, showed speed then chased between horses, went around the turn in the two path and capitulated. SUGAR GRAY LEONARD broke out and brushed the gate, was urged along towards the back, moved in late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, came out into the stretch and was no factor.
