Chart notes
HOLY BAYOU broke out, sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and was kept to the task. WAR SONG raced near the back in the beginning, moved up around the turn, made a late gain, racing five wide, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. BLACK CANDY raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside and proved no match for the top two. GOTMY MO JO WORKIN pressed the pace, close throughout, finished inside and missed third. LOVER BOY showed early speed, saved ground around the turn, weakened and finished evenly. LODE OF BLARNEY lacked early speed, raced outside around the turn, went to the wire evenly and lacked a bid. ONE PUTT RICHIE always raced near the back and showed little. UPTOWN SOCIAL raced within contention, dropped back and was outrun.
