Chart notes
TANTI AUGURI stalked three wide, rallied to drive past the leader approaching the sixteenth pole and drew clear. TEMPTING EVE broke slowly, laid well back in the four to five path and rallied to claim place passing the sixteenth pole. MISS DEMANDING broke a step slow, chased forwardly along the inside, ran on tipping two wide in the final furlong and edged show late. ESCOVEDO set the pace along the inside, built a clear margin into the turn, maintained an open margin through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder approaching the final sixteenth, weakened yet saved fourth at the wire. MY SHOT leaned into an outer rival at the start, laid off of the pace in the two path, entered the lane in the three path, sustained pursuit between horses and missed fourth. FUNNY LADY leaned inwardly while off slowly and bumped with an inner rival at the start, pursued from midpack in the four path, got outkicked by while hanging on her left lead and yielded. GIN RUN trailed in the three path and made little impact. MIDNIGHT MARY pressed two wide early on, chased the clear leader around the turn and weakened between horses.
