Chart notes
WAR BEAT chased in the three path, was coaxed passing the three-eighths mark, ranged up to take aim in the five path at the top of the lane, and stayed on to inch ahead of an inner foe in the final sixteenth. SPEED CONTROL stalked in the two path, took command while under a nudge in the three path midway around the far turn, was roused from the four path into the stretch, and kept on, but switched back to his left lead around the sixteenth, and was edged out in the closing stages. THREE WOLVES tracked inside, angled out passing the quarter, swung from the five path into the lane, but was one paced. ITALIAN SYMPHONY raced off the pace in the two path, was driven in the four path around the far turn, but made no impact. KING FALIERO set the pace in the two path but gaveway in the stretch. SELECTO rated in the four path, was ridden in the five path around the far turn, but never threatened.
