Chart notes
POPOVER GAL broke sharply, dropped in and set the pace towards the inside, was ridden along two wide handling outer pressure past the five sixteenths, drifted out a path entering the stretch, was quickly corrected with right handed crop work, responded to firm handling past mid stretch then eagerly pulled away while kept alert. HOT DANCE prompted the pace two to three wide outside the winner, altered in when that one drifted soon into the lane, gave hard chase outside SHAKE IT BABY leaving the furlong grounds and out finished that one to regain the place. SHAKE IT BABY , brushed at the break, corrected and edged up early, rated close while saving ground, got through along the rail in upper stretch to be the closest pursuer, gave way grudgingly and lost the place late. GILDA'S GIRL , brushed at the start, lagged back, saved ground into the lane, worked outward past mid stretch and finished with interest. ROMANTIC STORY rated inside foes leaving the five eighths, eased out for room mid turn, circled into the stretch, strayed outward in mid stretch then failed to kick on. LILLY LIGHTNING broke inward bumping a rival, corrected and stalked between runners from the five eighths, remained between foes leaving the far turn, failed to go on under a ride past the five sixteenths and weakened. YUMYUM EAT EM UP , bumped between horses leaving the gate, was rated back off the pace and failed to respond.
