Chart notes
RESPECT THE CROWN stumbled leaving the gate, coaxed along from off the pace, saved ground through the turn, rallied from inside, cleared approaching the sixteenth pole and was kept busy to the wire. DANCE KID raced off the inside at the back, steered to the two path for the turn, rallied between rivals and gained second. QUEEN OF THE TRACK sat off the pace, took the turn three to four wide and offered a mild response to earn the show honors. TIZ THE PROSPECT sprinted clear quickly and opened up a large lead in the early going, showed the way on the fence through the bend, continued well clear to the the quarter pole, drifted inward near the three-sixteenths pole, grew weary midstretch holding a diminished advantage into the final furlong, drifted out past the eighth pole, then folded once once overtaken by the winner shortly after. WRONG TURN CUPID hustled from inside then switched off the rail giving chase, was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, traveled three then two wide on the turn, drew closer in upper stretch but.
