Chart notes
SANDMAN allowed the pace to go early while saving some ground, angled out a bit for room when straightened for home, kicked down the leader under firm handling, took over late, edged away under continued pressure. BIG BOAT dueled up front the middle half, shook off the other speed to be clear nearing the furlong marker, could not contain the winner, well clear of the others. CALLING CARD in mid pack off the inside, raced four wide into the far turn, proved no match for the top pair in the drive, clear of the others. INSTANT REPLAY showed the way early, dueled up front along the in side, continued to alternate up the backstretch, first to blink turning for home. MCDUDE forwardly placed while racing outside, remained within striking distance while three wide in the second turn, weakened in the drive. RIO CHAMA failed to threaten while racing outside. EXTRADITION bothered to be off slowly, remained back in failing to threaten. BOUT TREE FIDDY broke back and was always outrun. GLOBAL LEGEND broke out to bother EXTRADITION, was straightened to race forward early, began a steady retreat after a half.
