VALLEY VICTORY pressed the issue inside in the two path in the beginning, dropped back a touch up front on the rail at the three furlong marker, closed back in by the quarter pole, re-engaged on the outside in upper stretch three wide and relentlessly wore down a stubborn frontrunner to seize command outside at the sixteenth pole and then edge away for the win at the finish line. JMR SPEEDY ESCAPE broke sharp having the early lead in the three path with runners on either side down the back straight, inched away to be clear up front on the rail with three eighths remaining, rolled along up top around the turn, maintained a slim advantage on the rail straightening for home, determinedly dug in when headed outside by mid-stretch and gave way grudgingly to the winner while on the fence in the final sixteenth still comfortably besting the rest for the runners up share at the wire. TOWN'S WARRIOR travelled on the r ail in midfield along the backside, improved on the fence in the second tier at the three furlong marker, shifted out midturn gathering momentum, was in the hunt five wide turning for home, tried in vain to reel in the top two down the lane who had it to themselves but settled for a clear third when crossing the finish line. SNOOKERED co-trailed on the inside at the half mile marker, travelled on the fence taking the short way around the turn, edged up shifting out to the two path by the quarter pole, rallied on the rail in upper stretch and finished up with good energy in the final furlong to come on late for a minor placing in the end. SUGAR IT'S ELI travelled in the middle of the pack between horses early on, waited inside rivals for the cue to move through the turn, was stuck behind a wall of runners at the quarter pole, skimmed the rail at the top of the stretch, shifted out in the two path battling for a small piece of the prize in the last furlong but was just outfinished by the inside runner late for that placing in deep stretch. WINSTON BLUE settled close to the back of the pack in the two path, was scrubbed on between rivals on the turn, starting to pick up the bit by the quarter pole, shifted out five wide entering the stretch and finished up willingly, gradually gaining on runners in deep stretch. DREAM JEREEM had a good spot on the rail down the backside watching the contesting trio, kept pace while outside a runner in the second flight tracking the pacesetter on the turn, shifted outside four wide with a quarter mile from home, angled out even further to be in the six path at the top of the lane but could only finish up one paced posing little threat in the late stages. ORPHAN HALLIE settled on the outside in mid-pack down the backstretch, was shuffled back a couple of positions through the bend, angled to the eight path at the top of the lane but failed to menace in the stretch running. PASSTHEPUDDINPLEAZ had a slow start trailing four deep along the backside, continued at the rear making little movement three wide through the turn, shifted out nine wide for the stretch run bit could not factor in the drive to the wire. STORMIN DAVE prompted the pace four deep outside foes down the back straight, chased the frontrunner outside around the bend, tired up top three wide at the top of the stretch and yielded between others by the furlong marker. MONDAY MORNING stalked near the rear in the three path with runners on either side, made little progression under a ride three wide through the turn, angled outside to be widest in the nine path at the top of the lane, was empty for the drive and cantered down the lane to the finish little making little presence.
