Chart notes
SHE CAUGHT MY EYE broke out at the start, was coaxed along on the outside, came under stronger encouragement late on the backstretch, was ridden along in the three path on the turn, came five wide into the stretch then rallied on the outside, swapped leads back and forth while making a bid near the furlong marker, took the lead outside the sixteenth-pole, switched back to her inside lead late and proved best under steady handling. CARBON was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the inside of a rival, was urged along in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch, battled under a drive into the final furlong and proved no match for the winner while able to get the place. CONDIMENT GIRL stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the four path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead into upper stretch, remained on her inside lead to near the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, lost the advantage to the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened while able to get the show. JOLLY MISS JILL disputed the pace on the outside, was asked in the three path on the turn, battled under a drive into the final furlong and tired. RAW POWER moved in while settling off the pace, reached the rail before the five-eighths pole, moved from the rail to the two path under urging early on the turn, remained in the two path through that bend, chased along the rail in the stretch and lacked the needed kick. SUSPENDED CAMPAIGN broke a step slow then dropped well behind the rest of the field, rounded the turn in the two then three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and failed to threaten. REIGNING CHICK was well placed down the backstretch, passed the half-mile pole under urging, came up empty along the rail on the turn and faltered.
