Chart notes
CANAL ST. CUPID went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, pulled away and won easily. NATIVE REQUITE pressed the early pace, forwardly placed throughout and followed the winner to the wire. BRANDON'S BEST bumped at the start, racing in the back, moved up on the outside around the second turn, made a bid, proved no match for the top two, but got up for third. MISSISSIPPI CO. raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn and was caught late for third. EASY EDDIE A raced near the back, saved ground around the second turn, put forth an even effort and was no factor. CAT DADDY'S CAT raced within contention, came around the first turn on the outside and weakened. KAH NIGH broke in, bumped rival, always raced near the back and showed little.
