Chart notes
PATIENCE WILL PAY unhurried in the beginning, moved up on the inside around the final turn, waited, blocked, angled out, split rivals down the lane, drove clear and finished well. CAJUN MITOLE raced within striking distance, moved up on the outside around the final turn, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. MAJORITY OPINION pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and lacked a late kick. LONE WARRIOR raced evenly near the middle of the field, came around the final turn four wide and was never a factor. MONEY KINGDOM void of early speed, came around the second turn five wide and was never close. REBIND always raced near the back and showed little. DEAL EM JUSTICE broke in, went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and dropped back. THE JOCKEY OF #5 CAJUN MITOLE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #7 PATIENCE WILL PAY FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE HEAD OF THE LANE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
