Chart notes
MOBOU tracked in the three path, was ridden around the far turn, bid from the five path turning into the lane, and stayed on to inch ahead in the closing stages. MOMZA laid up close in the three path, took command while in the two path passing the three-eighths mark, was cued midway around the far turn, dug in from the three path down the stretch, but was edged out in the closing stages. THE DOORMAN rated in the three path, was coaxed passing the three-eighths mark, and kept on down the stretch for show. GENTLEMAN GERRY stalked in the four path, was driven around the far turn, but was one paced in the five path down the lane. SPEIGHT'SPERCOMETE chased in the four path, angled out to the seven path while under a drive turning into the lane, but was no factor. SCIENCE (IRE) set the pace in the two path, but lost the lead passing the three-eighths mark, and faded in the stretch. ARTEMUS BRIDGE trailed in the two path and did not threaten. ROYAL ACT raced in midpack along the inside but retreated.
