Chart notes
REBELIOUS unhurried early while saving ground, continued in hand while inside far turn, moved out to be three wide turning for home, challenged on the outside and four deep nearing the furlong grounds, put a head in front while drifting slightly inside the eighth pole, edged clear under steady handling. TIZ WICKED STRONG in the second flight while racing outside, moved closer late backstretch, challenged three wide midway on the final turn, vied through upper stretch, held a narrow advantage with a furlong remaining, could not match the winner late, held sway for the place. AIRBORNE ELITE closest to the leader off the rail, continued to prompt that one up the backstretch, challenged inside the winner and between horses with five sixteenths remaining, vied through upper stretch, weakened a bit the final furlong, remained clear for the show. GOTTA HAVE DREAMS settled off the pace toward the inside, angled out to be four wide turning for home, roused for the drive, failed to muster any late gain to finish up evenly. CHARBON asked for run out of the gate, clear into the first turn, showed the way for almost six furlongs along the inside, briefly responded when challenged second turn then steadily weakened through the lane. GLUCKSTADT fell back to trail after the start, three wide into the stretch when still lagging, lacked a rally. SAGITTARIUS forwardly placed early along the inside, began to weaken after a half.
