Chart notes
BRODEUR took command soon after breaking in good order, cleared toward the inside, dueled into and through the turn, disposed of the other speed when straightened for home, responded when the runner up came calling approaching the furlong marker and refused to let that rival by late. EL PRESTIGIO broke in mid pack, advanced into a forward position while inside through the turn, drifted out to bother a tiring MAX GOT EXICITED nearing midstretch, was straightened, challenged outside the winner and drew even with a sixteenth to run, could not get by. CAN DO ANDREW back off the early pace, moved inside for the turn, continued in midpack into the stretch, rallied to be along for the show, not a threat to the top two. POPPA ECHO broke out, settled behind the pace, got out behind the lead pack to be four wide into the lane bothering GUN RUNNER CHARLIE, dueled with CAN DO ANDREW to the wire for the show, outfinished. GUN RUNNER CHARLIE raced in mid pack off the inside, three to four wide late in the turn, bothered by POPPA ECHO into the stretch, steadied, not enough late for the show. MAX GOT EXCITED moved up to press the winner from the outside soon after the start, dueled through the turn, first to blink entering the stretch, was tiring when bothered by the runner up approaching the furlong grounds, continued to weaken. MOTEL PATEL forwardly placed early, two path turn, had little left for the stretch run. WISE DECISION in the second flight off rail, three to four wide through the turn, tired through the stretch. WE NEED A FAVOR lacked speed outside, four to five wide late in the turn, failed to muster a rally. TRIGGER POINT was never a factor. SAVING HEART off a step slow, remained always back in failing to threaten. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
