Chart notes
MAKE NO MISTAKE settled on the outside stalking in the third flight down the backside, began to reach for more ground in midturn, shifted out at the quarter pole gathering speed, angled out four wide between horses in upper stretch, found her best stride late and was going clear for the win in the final seventy yards. LADY MOONSHINE tracked the lead pair in early backstretch, watch the leader on the r ail at the half, chased the pacesetter, narrowing the gap through the turn, edged up three wide between runners in the thick of things at the eighth pole but was outkicked by the winner late and just held on to save the runners up share at the wire. GALLEY HEAD had a stalking position near the rear going in the three path down the backside, ranged up moving forward three wide outside foes on the turn, shifted to the five path in the hunt outside at the top of the stretch, kept coming outside down the lane but just could not get to the top two rivals when coming up to the finish line. DELPHIA opened up loose on the lead freewheeling at the half, continued to roll along up top alone around the bend, began to shorten stride clinging onto the lead on the fence with a furlong left to run and got leg weary late inside runners being caught in deep stretch and had to settle on the fringes at the finish line. GIZMO'S B F F stalked on the r ail close to the back of the pack, saved ground but regressed slightly inside foes through the turn, shifted out four wide straightening for the wire and was running on end late but could only gain gradually on the leaders in the final furlong. ARRIVISTE broke with the field but was out paced soon after the start to trail in the beginning, improved down the backside to sit in midfield by the half, was ridden for more offering little rally at the quarter pole and finished up evenly down the lane in the two path. BLAZING SKY stalked close to the back of the pack ahead of a few runners along the backside, had little to show going three wide between rivals when scrubbed on through the turn and made little presence in the stretch running. LIAM'S AWESOME could see the field four deep on the outside with a half mile to run, made no gain still travelling four wide outside foes around the bend, angled out to the seven path for the drive to the line but had no finish to offer running down the lane. DREAMING OF HOPE forced the issue on the outside in the beginning, tracked the lone speed outside at the half, retreated when roused midway around the bend and emptied out having little left for the stretch drive.
