MR. SWAGGER stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader while in the three then two path on the turn, took the advantage in upper stretch and drew away under steady urging. OPTIC WAY angled in while going to the front then showed the way, vied inside of a rival while dropping from the two path to the rail on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and proved no match while clear for the place. BEACHWALKER settled at the rear of the field, moved from the rail to the two path under urging on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the three path, altered in from behind traffic near the furlong marker and was along for the show. BLAKE B. was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, chased while moving from the inside to the two path on the turn, moved to the three path outside the quarter-pole and weakened. WILD BANKER was hard ridden off the pace, went four wide on the turn, raced between horses into the final sixteenth and lacked the needed response. MYSTIC NIGHT settled off the pace, chased between foes while in the three then four path on the turn, moved to the five path outside the quarter-pole and tired. PRINCE OF JOY was urged along just off the pace, chased in the two then three path on the turn, moved to the four path outside the quarter-pole and came up empty. BAR FOURTEEN settled off the pace, moved in near the five-eighths pole, was urged along in the three path on the turn and failed to threaten. COMMANDPERFORMANCE was urged along well back in the field, raced in the three path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the four path, moved out near the furlong marker and was no factor. FIERY HEART was forwardly placed on the outside, chased while moving from the four to six path on the turn and capitulated. RETAIL MAN was coaxed along off the pace, went around the turn in the two path and failed to respond.
