Chart notes
DANGEROUS AFFAIR bumped with outer rival early, raced up close two wide into the turn, chased three wide into the lane, took over past the three-sixteenths pole and inched clear from the runner-up. RUNNING SUPER dueled for the lead from outside, chased three then two wide on the turn before challenging again at the five-sixteenths pole, put a head in front at the top of the lane, lost command past the three-sixteenths pole and stayed on well for a game second. MUCHO MAGICAL broke slow and lost his path at the start, trailed in range into the turn, angled out then back in around the bend, moved out in the stretch, chased within striking distance into the final furlong but flattened out in the late stages. GUITAR GIRL stumbled leaving the gate, bumped and got crowded early, chased three then four wide on the turn and failed to rally. HOT DAY broke in, straightened out quickly and went up to fight for the lead from inside, cleared into the turn, challenged again at the five-sixteenths pole, relinquished the lead at the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
