Chart notes
SEE THROUGH IT vied three deep, fought four wide into the lane, took over past the quarter pole, disposed of inner rivals and held MISSION BEACH off through the final furlong. MISSION BEACH bothered by outer rival at the start, dropped back then moved into range up the backstretch, chased two wide into the turn, angled out and came five wide into the stretch, challenged from outside but lacked the needed late kick to get by the winner. RED CROSS KNIGHT brushed MANITOWISH at the start, vied between rivals holding a slim advantage, ridden along still leading through the turn between foes, yielded to SEE THROUGH IT in upper stretch but kept on trying to hold third. MANITOWISH bumped leaving the gate, lost his path early, stalked four wide into the turn, got moved out to the five path by MISSION BEACH on the turn and failed to produce a bid when called upon. POSITIVITY vied inside a pair of rivals up the backstretch and around the turn, yielded in upper stretch and weakened in the late stages.
