Chart notes
GOODLUCKCHUCK was forwardly placed while racing four-wide, responded when asked and was up in the final sixteenth to prevail narrowly. GAME BOY BENNY was reserved off the early pace, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast to just miss. DOCTOR WU set the pace into the stretch while racing two-wide but was unable to resist the top two late in a game effort. AMERICAN PURE bobbled at the start then was in right along the inside nearing the three-eighths pole, angled out to become six-wide into the stretch and rallied late. THE RED MAN prompted DOCTOR WU from along the inside into the stretch and held on well in a steady effort. DAVID'S GEM bobbled at the start then was allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. THE COACHMAN was forwardly placed early while racing three-wide and weakened. OTIS OTIS OTIS was close up early while racing two-wide and tired. BROADWAY SKY dropped back early, came six-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
