Chart notes
CORNISHMAN steadied off heels near the seven eighths, regrouped and settled off the pace, edged up while well wide as a four ply pace battle went on leaving the three eighths, circled five wide under asking into the stretch, ranged up to engage a dueling duo from their outside leaving mid stretch, emerged in a tussle outside SURPRISINGLYPERFECT through the final seventy yards and proved best. SURPRSINGLYPERFECT rated five wide early, moved up outside rivals while in hand near the half, bid four deep near the three eighths, dueled outside ITS KRACKEN TIME from the head of the lane to mid stretch, dug in when hooked by CORNISHMAN, fought on valiantly to the inside of that one but wasn't quite good enough. ITS KRAKEN TIME , sent hard from the gate, vied outside RAILWAY before clearing in early backstretch, set the pace under a light hold into the far turn, was joined by a trio of outer foes soon after, fought on past the five sixteenths then wandered out to the three path into the lane, corrected to fight on past mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. WINTER FALCON broke slowly, regrouped and saved ground, waited leaving the far turn, eased out to move up between foes past the five sixteenths, swung further out for the drive and kept on with some interest. RAILWAY vied early towards the inside, rated back off the leader and angled out, rebid two wide between foes leaving the far turn, contested the issue past the five sixteenths, chased into the stretch then faded in the final furlong. BAD SNEAKERS stalked three wide, bid between horses near the three eighths, forced the pace to the head of the lane then gradually gave way. CORN POP saved ground, edged up into the far turn, chased the embattled quartet past the five sixteenths then faded. ARISTOCRACY settled off the inside, made a gain between rivals leaving the far turn, tracked past the five sixteenths, drafted back soon after, angled out and weakened. LAST MARTINI , four wide early, was outrun.
