Chart notes
VILLIAN saved ground setting the pace in hand, responded when challenged and proved best under strong handling. TIER ONE tracked VILLIAN while racing two-wide, moved up to join that one at the quarter pole but was unable to get by him in a game effort. ONLY GET'N BETTER was unhurried early, came six-wide into the stretch and closed strongly. CONTROLLER was prominently placed while racing along the inside but lacked a rally. COUNTEVERYBLESSING was forwardly placed to the stretch while racing three-wide and weakened. KHOZANDO hopped in the air at the start to get away behind his field then was allowed to settle, came five-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten.
