TURA LURA was hustled to get forward position, then ceded the lead and tracked BOURBON GLAZE in the three path, while never far back, launched a bit and slipped to the inside on the far turn, gained the lead in mid-stretch and won clear under steady handling. BOURBON GLAZE came away well and won the race to the first turn, led a host of pursuers onto the backstretch, was being confidently handled on the far turn while keeping all at bay, came under a drive passing the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out under urging and was outfinished by the winner. HOLLYWOOD MISTRESS was allowed to settle near the back of the tracking group, made a sustained run from the half-mile marker and outfinished all but the top two. REMEMBER SUE settled mid-pack two off the rail, made a mild bid from the three furlong pole, came four to five wide into the stretch, shied in mid-stretch when POINT AND SHOOT drifted into the path and finished even-paced. POINT AND SHOOT went five wide through the first turn, was under a drive to keep pace before passing the six furlong pole but continued to gain ground on the leaders to the far turn, went four wide through the far turn still under a stiff drive drifted out and did not have much to offer late. A CROWN FOR KITTEN lacked early speed and settled near the rear and dropped far behind early, went four wide through the far turn and passed a few before the finish. CLAY'S OPAL INDY was devoid of early speed and last into the first turn, raced three wide through the far turn then swung seven wide into the stretch, attempted to make a late bid but lugged in, lost momentum and finished evenly. KITTEN'S KID held up behind horses early, pulled quickly to be second as the field turned down the backstretch, remained prominent to the stretch but tired in the final furlong. SHELBY GOLD was close up early but three wide through the clubhouse turn, lost ground on the far turn and had nothing for the stretch run. ZELAIA secured the rail and was up close through the first turn, settled mid-pack down the backstretch then started to lose ground before the far turn and was outrun from that point. This race was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
