Chart notes
BATI KING unhurried, moved up on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch, closed fast and edged up in the final strides. SIR ROBERT HALL led in the early going, was well placed outside the leader, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, shook clear into the stretch, drew off, then was outfinished. MAPTITUDE well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, angled four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and lacked the needed late kick. ROAD MINISTER unhurried, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals, angled out and passed tiring rivals. MR JACK mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the turn, fanned four wide into the stretch and ran evenly. GRANTED SUCCESS vied for the early lead from between, held position on the two path through the turn, came through on that path and faded late. SONG RUNNER set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then faded the final furlong. AMBULANTE never far back, moved up three wide through the turn, angled widest and stopped.
