Chart notes
BALLINONABUDJET had a tight start, racing near the back, moved up within striking distance, came around the final turn four wide, rallied down the stretch and was going away at the end. RANCH WATER vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, took the lead around the final turn, but couldn't match strides with the winner down the lane. VENN raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, angled out down the stretch, made a mild bid and proved third best. CITY PARK lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no real factor. KING OF CONTRABAND showed early speed, faded and was no threat late. WOOD RIVER raced in the back of the pack in the beginning, came around the second turn on the outside and passed tired ones. CAJUN MISCHIEF unprepared start, raced near the middle of the field, faded and finished evenly. CREEKSIDE dueled on the front end, dropped back and was outrun.
