Chart notes
DAPPER MOON stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, bid in upper stretch, dueled gamely with his inner counterpart through the final furlong and wrestled an advantage late. HAWIJA showed the way in the two path, met a challenge from an outer presser in upper stretch, dug in and sparred tenaciously through the final furlong but was bested late. HESPER stalked along the inside, chased the top pair while tipping out in upper stretch, but proved no match for them and was best of the rest. GIFT GIVER tracked from midpack in the four path and gave way. JOSH G hesitated at the start and was off slow, pursued from the two path and failed to factor. LOUISIANA NATIVE broke a step slow, trailed along the inside and got outrun.
