Chart notes
RIBOT'S VALENTINE tracked the pace and was three to four wide on the turn, made a bid off the turn and hit the front in the final sixteenth and maintained a safe margin to prove best under a drive. TERPEYE was reserved early, advanced two to three wide on the turn and then finished well but could not get by the winner late. ME DARLIN KATHLEEN chased the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to gain a short lead by the quarter pole, then shook clear leaving the turn but was caught while staying on to best the rest. SHINELIKEADIAMOND was off slowly, then advanced to be mid pack by the half-mile marker, made a four to five bid by the quarter pole but flattened out in the final furlong. MS MERRABEL was settled back early, four to five wide on the turn and passed the tiring rivals. SEVEN YEARS LATER set the pace while in the three to two path on the turn and was headed nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. BABY FADE tracked the pace on the inside and weakened. SHE'S GOT GAME was settled early on the inside and failed to menace. LA LIMA was settled early and two wide and then dropped to the inside on the turn and tired.
