Chart notes
HER LAUGH showed the way along the inside, shook free while well in hand with five sixteenths to go, lugged inwardly while flopping back to her left lead and shying from a right handed crop at the three sixteenths pole, straightened course and changed back to her right lead at the furlong grounds, then was put to wraps and geared down in the final sixteenth. GOLDEN GAMBLE laid off of the pace in the three path, bided time in the four path while turning for home behind rivals, tipped five wide into the lane, rallied to gain place while shifting inwardly at the furlong grounds, then closed in on the wrapped up leader and held place late. CALIFORNIA SUNSET was slow into stride and trailed early on, came under urging in the three path around the far turn, swung out to the six path into the lane and rallied belatedly but needed more to reach place. STABLE CURRENCY pursued from midpack along the inside, then two wide and between horses approaching the five furlong pole, chased turning for home, vied for show among foes into the final furlong, but was outkicked by an outer rival at the sixteenth pole and held fourth. DREXEL HILL shied outwardly at the start and was slow to recover, settled off of the pace in the two path, awaited racing room while saving ground behind rivals around the far turn, remained behind traffic through midstretch, shifted inwardly to knife between foes at the sixteenth pole, then stayed on but was denied fourth. AMARTH stalked in the two to four path around the first turn, chased in the four path around the far turn, vied for place in upper stretch, steadied when outkicked and put in tight by an outer rival passing the furlong grounds and yielded. PARIS LILY stalked outside of the leader and from the four path, sustained pressure in the three path around the far turn, chased between horses turning for home and faded. PRIMA BELLA was fractious loading, stalked along the inside, chased around the far turn and weakened.
