Chart notes
SHIVAREE set the pace on the inside, shook clear into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. FUNKENSTEIN stalked the pace on the outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, came three wide into the stretch, was pushed in slight, steadying between, then edged up for the place. VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH tracked the pace pulling, was blocked through the second turn into the stretch, waited, came through angling out, drifted out further causing tight quarters, then straightened, weakened late and held the show. NAUTILUS mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, lugged in, steadied, then closed for a share. KING NATE passed tiring rivals. FALCONS FURY well placed outside, held position four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the stretch and faded. SMOOTH PLAYER was never involved. CLEMSON TIGER well placed and inside, faded through the second turn. A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF NAUTILUS AGAINST THE RIDER OF VENEZUELAN TRIUMPH WAS ALLOWED FOR INTLERFENCE IN THE STRETCH AND VENEZUELAN TRIUPH WAS PLACED FOURTH Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC.
