Chart notes
GRAND TOWER set the pace in the two path and held firm under a drive. MANHATTAN BOY stalked the pace from the rail, could not reel in the winner but held off the rest for the place. FORWARDLY saved ground off the pace, swung seven wide in upper stretch and rallied for the show. BATTLE OF DOVER raced in range three wide, moved up to press the pace down the backstretch and in the three path around the far turn and weakened in the final furlong. SELECTO saved ground and failed to menace. HARTSBEATLIKTHUNDR bumped at the start, saved ground off the early pace, went four wide around the far turn, bumped again nearing the eighth pole and lacked the needed rally. MONEY IN MOTION was rank through the opening half, raced two and three wide and was no threat in the lane. RAPSCALLION bumped at the start, raced off the pace two and three wide, bumped again and steadied nearing the eighth pole and had no further bids.
