Chart notes
AMERICAN LAW in the second flight in the first turn while three wide, continued in the three path up the backstretch, asked along second turn, crept a bit closer late in the final turn, stalled a bit in upper stretch then mounted a late surge to be going away at the end. POLTERER broke alertly, narrowly set a pressured pace dueled into the lane, headed, battled back to regain the advantage but was unable to contain the winner in the late going. EASTSIDE COOL pressed the issue in the first turn while four wide, continued to force the pace backstretch, went after the leader and put a head in front when dueling past the furlong marker, faltered while between the top two at the end. RIGHT TONE lacked speed, bit closer second turn off the rail, came four to five wide for the drive to lose some ground to the lead pack, rallied to be gaining for the show. AFTERNOON HEAT in some traffic when forwardly placed first turn, fell back after a half, went one paced to the wire in lacking a closing kick. C F V BULLET reluctant to load, raced in mid pack and one paced in failing to menace, four wide into lane. BURNING LEAVES off as step slow, trailed early, improved position after the issue had been decided by passing tiring rivals. MAHAAMEL settled in mid pack, came up empty for the drive. DRIFTER four wide through the first turn when back, five wide much of the second bend, failed to rally. SEVEN FLAT pressed the issue for a half along the inside and gave way.
