MALICED made the lead along the inside soon after the start, set a pressured pace while getting quick fractions, drew off in upper stretch under right handed urging and just lasted under left handed encouragement. SOMEDAY IS TODAY with the second flight into the stretch, surged late under right handed urging in the five path and just missed getting up in time. TIZ INDEPENDENCE steadied between rivals at the seven eighths, advanced between rivals two wide before a half, kept on and improved her position late in the five path. R THREE ANGELS pressured the winner two wide into the stretch then weakened. KITTEN CALLS was no factor. MAGIC PALACE tracked the pace along the inside through the far turn and failed to respond. NEEDED bobbled at the start and was through after a half.
