Chart notes
FLIGHT ON RACE DAY stalked outside of the pace-setter, chased that one while lacking progress through upper stretch, yet closed in to offer a bid at the sixteenth pole, gained an advantage late and held from a late outer challenger. ELODINE broke a step slow, tracked from midpack in the three path into the turn, crept closer turning for home, chased while upper stretch, yet closed in leaving the sixteenth pole as the eventual winner gained an advantage, offered a late bid but was denied while gaining place. NEVER WALK ALONE showed the way along the inside, held sway through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole, gave in and yielded place late. OH I GIGGLE chased forwardly along the inside and pursued evenly. LYNNA hesitated at the start, trailed along the inside, swung out to the five path into upper stretch and ran on to close the gap on the main group. MRS ZEPEDA pursued from the two path and failed to factor.
