Chart notes
HOOSIER PHILLY showed the way along the inside, built a loose margin down the backstretch, met an outer challenge around the far turn, repelled that foe entering the lane and drew clear under mild urging before being geared down late. NOM DE PLUME bobbled leaving the gate, pressed outside of the leader, yielded in the three path and between horses entering the far turn, tucked to the inside while near the rear turning for home, regained stride and came gain through the lane, offered an inside bid for place at the sixteenth pole and edged that position. TRYINMYHEARTOUT settled off of the pace in the two path, advanced inside of rivals entering the far turn and bid outside of the leader around that bend, but was turned away while entering the lane in the three path, then lost place to an inner bidder late. LEXA trailed in the two path, swung out five wide into the lane and offered a mild kick to gain fourth at the wire. BRU NA BOINNE tracked three wide, chased four to three wide and between horses around the far turn, tucked two wide into the lane, gave way and lost fourth at the wire. BOW DRAW pursued from midpack in the four path, ranged up five to four wide around the far turn, but flattened out entering the lane and tired between horses.
