Chart notes
KING ADROCK showed speed from the start, saved ground around the turn, dueled inside MOJAVE through out and determinedly prevailed. MOJAVE , sent soon after the break, dueled outside the winner in a game effort. MISTER MCLEAN , a forward factor in the three path between horses on the turn, rallied. AWESOME STORM chased the pace, stayed near the inner rail most of the trip and weakened. LEAP DAY , unruly going to the starting gate, circled the turn four deep and weakened. SHARP WARNING remained along the inner rail throughout and had a slight rally. DETROIT CITY raced in the two path leaving the backstretch, stayed inside horses on the turn and weakened. QUEENS EFFORT , no factor, angled to the eight path in upper stretch. HERMISTON stayed wide on the turn and weakened. FABSTRACTION , very wide leaving the turn, was outrun.
