Chart notes
SUGA STEVE , away well, prompted the pace two wide wide outside the leader, moved to apply more pressure leaving the far turn, asserted himself and took command three wide into the stretch, eagerly opened up in mid stretch and was kept alert with left handed asks. CLASSIC JOKE , away last after being bumped and put in tight by an outer foe, regrouped and was under snug rating edging up nearing the turn, worked three wide between horses into the stretch then finished up nicely through the sixteenth to gain and be well clear of the rest. NORMANDY HERO sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, took outer pressure leaving the far turn, battled on to the inside of the winner while guided off the rail into the stretch, stayed willingly past mid stretch then faded through the final seventy yards. BANDITSGOLDENCHILD , three to four wide stalking the leaders, was put to pressure mid turn, gave hard chase to mid stretch then came up empty. POINT DUME bobbled at the break, recovered and pulled forward inside foes, steadied along from the four and a half to the half, remained inside mid turn, worked outward leaving mid stretch and churned on under hand encouragement. INCINERATOR , four to five wide, lacked a bid. SAME DAY AS L J broke inward bumping and tightening CLASSIC JOKE, dropped off the pace and failed to get involved.
