PEPPERMINT CLASS , in tight quarters when bumping with ALWAYS LAUGHING leaving the starting gate, made the early lead, set the pace along the inner rail, responded to brisk urging in the stretch and drew away. RUDA , swung wide entering the backstretch, advanced three deep on the far turn, took aim on the leader entering the stretch and flattened out. ISABELLA'S GLORY lacked speed, swung wide leaving the far turn and had a slight rally. NAVANI , three wide the first turn, advanced four deep on the far turn and failed to sustain the move. BOUND BY DESTINY came out at the break, chased the pace racing along the inner rail and gave way. ALWAYS LAUGHING bumped with the winner at the start, chased that one for six furlongs and faltered in the drive. DIVINE GRACE , three wide the first turn, was in contention to the far turn then gave way.
