QUEEN MALLARD broke in good order, dueled up front on the outside, disposed of the other speed when straightened for home, enough left to comfortably hold the runner up safe. GENTLY behind the pace while off the rail, came four wide for the drive, set down, slowly getting to the winner late, well clear of the others. TEXAS SEQUOIA off a step slow, bothered, well back early, began to move midway on the turn, three wide into the lane, finished willingly through some traffic to annex the show. ALOHA BABY came in at the start to bother TEXAS SEQUOIA, was righted, lacked speed, in some traffic late in the turn, four wide into the lane, also rallied to improve while not a threat to the top two. PARIS ACCORD went one paced throughout while off the inside in lacking a closing response. KIAMICHI broke back, in tight along the rail and shuffled back into the turn, improved position while not a serious threat. ROSIE COTTON lacked speed outside, four to five wide out of the turn, went flat late in lacking a closing kick. AURORA GEE dueled up front while racing along the inside, first to blink while inside the winner in upper stretch. L. A. DIAMOND saved ground behind the pace four a half, backed up through the stretch. ACTIN' UP lacked speed well out in the strip, five wide through the turn, failed to muster a rally. MY JULIA was finished early while racing four wide. INDIAN SPIRIT forwardly placed early, staged a steady retreat while racing just off the inside.
