Chart notes
DISCO BALL away in good order, got clear in the two path the opening quarter, showed the way through the turn under confident handling, roused when the runner up closed the gap a bit nearing midstretch, drifted out then held sway. DEVIL'S TOWER broke outward but on top, allowed the winner to go early, pursued that one along the inside into the turn, moved out three wide and closed the gap on that one when straightened for home, slight bother as that same foe drifted out, steered in and was slowly closing the gap at the wire. SPANKSTER behind the pace while along the inside, could not keep up with the top pair through the lane, narrowly gained the nod for the show spot. BRESLAU bumped at the start, raced off the pace and three wide into and through the turn, also proved no match for the top two to the wire, missed the show. CIRCLE BACK JACK bumped then was bothered at the start to be away a step slow, trailed throughout and never menaced.
