LONG MAYSHE REIGN away quickly to take control, angled inward across the dirt, controlled the pace to the turn, saved ground around the bend, roused in upper stretch and remained clear under a drive. CERTITUDE (FR) was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, took the turn two wide, finished willingly down the stretch but could only whittle the gap on the winner late. AVOIR shied from LONG MAYSHE REIGN coming over across the dirt, chased along the rail inside a pair of rivals to the turn, remained on the fence to the stretch, flattened in the lane but was able to secure the show. IRISH ROSE settled off the pace, went three deep into the turn, raced in the four path outside a rival turning for home and failed to threaten. PINK WHITNEY broke a bit slow, raced a bit awkwardly across the dirt, moved into range, chased two wide then along the rail on the turn, tipped out in the lane and lacked a rally. SHOP TILL YOU DROP bobbled crossing over the dirt, moved off the inside and chased the lone speed outside a pair of rivals, went three wide around the turn and weakened. JENNIFER'S D'LIGHT raced outside a rival at the back then trailed alone past the half-mile pole, saved ground through the turn and was outrun. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING THE RUN ACROSS THE DIRT AND RULED THAT ALTHOUGH LONG MAYSHE REIGN DID ANGLE IN AND CAUSE AVOIR TO SHIE, THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION.
